Our Story

Nemani Microcredit was founded in January, bringing together motivated students from across Italy

reshaping the narrative of microfinance
During a visit to Trichy, India, our founders, through a Rome-based non-profit, experienced firsthand the transformative impact of microcredit in alleviating poverty.
It inspired them to replicate this model in other underserved regions

Established key partnerships, secured initial funding, and selected 36 female-led entrepreneurial projects in Kampala, Uganda, for financing
We visited Kampala to gain firsthand knowledge of the region, its people, their needs, and to connect with our partners
